Professional & Ethical Issues

I subscribe to the Codes of Ethics and Professional Practices of the British Psychological Society (BPS), Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the Gestalt Centre, London.

I hold registrations and professional memberships with HCPC, BPS, UKCP, the Gestalt Centre Associates.

I am a teaching fellow at the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Surrey, as well as an associate at the Gestalt psychotherapy training institute, The Gestalt Centre, London. I supervise clinical work of several doctoral level psychologists; work closely with many of NHS IAPT, CHMT, CAMH psychological services in London and the greater London area. I am a registered consultant psychologist with several insurance providers (Bupa, AXA, Aviva, Pru Health etc.)

I attend regular supervision sessions with other senior colleagues where client work is presented. This is part of the ongoing commitment to professional standards and development. All clients’ details are disguised in order to protect their identity and respect confidentiality.

I do require that clients undertake an agreement not to cause any physical damage to themselves, myself and or the working premises.

What's more, I reserve right to break confidentiality and contact any other appropriate service or person if I consider a client to be of risk to themselves or to other people.
